20th Anniversary Tournaments

As well as our normal Calendar we will be holding special tournaments to celebrate our 20th year.  Below are some of the highlights.

The Captain's day: 28^th April 13

The Captain Maria Stangl has put together a classic day with a different twist on every hole.  Be prepared to play some shots that you have never played before!

Original layout tournament: 12^th May 13

This tournament will use the original layout of the course (or the old 3^rd and 4^th for those of you who remember the original layout.)  We have the original scorecard so do not worry about getting your shots on the correct holes!  This will be a stableford format and will be an open competition.

Palheiro Invitational guest day: 14^th July 13

Palheiro Club members invite a guest for a four ball better ball competition followed by dinner.  There are already rumours flying about who the guest speaker may be!

Madeira Wine Tournament: 8^th September 13

We have got together some of the most famous Madeira Wine Makers for this competition so be prepared for a jolly day!  This will be a four ball better ball format and will be a shotgun start followed by lunch in the Clubhouse.
